Anyone coming inside the school is to check in with ZOR staff before entering the gym. All coaches, administrative staff, and volunteers are required to have a criminal record check done. We will also be going over safety rules with all our athletes before the start of each session.
What should my child bring to a game/training session?
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Lunch and snacks (lunch will be provided on Thursdays)
  • ABSOLUTELY NO NUTS IN LUNCHES PLEASE!
  • Basketball shoes (grip soles preferred)
  • Shirt
  • Shorts or athletic pants
  • Extra shirt and bottoms in the case of an accident
  • Headbands, wristbands, knee sleeves, or elbow sleeves if preferred (athletes wearing a kara or bracelet are required to wear a wristband over)
  • Basketball (optional) with name written on it
  • What age does an athlete need to be to attend ZOR?
ZOR Basketball Summer camp participants must be between the ages of 5-17. Players will initially be separated by age but assessed based on skill level. Athletes performing at a level above peers in their age group will be placed in an older age category (after obtaining parental consent) to ensure athletes are consistently being challenged and attaining their true potential.
My child has a severe allergy, requires medication, or has accessibility accommodations. What are my options?
ZOR aims to be as inclusive and accessible as possible. Please indicate on the registration form if your child has any allergies, requires medication, or has any accessibility accommodations. Please let us know if we can make any changes to ensure your child is receiving the best experience. All campers will be emailed prior to the start of camp with a list of allergies. ZOR Basketball has a zero tolerance policy on nuts. Please let the camp staff know on the first day where the Epi-pen, inhaler, or any other medication is located to ensure quick response. A first aid certified instructor will be on site at all times. In the case of a severe emergency, an ambulance will be called to the camp site and the camper will be accompanied by a staff member. The emergency contact will be notified as soon as possible.
What happens if my child gets injured?
In the case of a serious injury, an incident report will be taken reporting the details of the injury. In minor cases, the injury may require rest and ice. In the case of a severe emergency, an ambulance will be called to the camp site and the camper will be accompanied by a staff member. The emergency contact will be notified as soon as possible.
What happens if my child gets into a physical altercation?
We have a zero tolerance policy for fighting and bullying, anyone engaged in such acts will be subject to removal from our programs without refund!
When should I pay the camp fees by and what method of payment is acceptable?
